A WORKED EXAMPLE

A strong finish can hide a cash shortfall.

A fictional agency expects to finish 13 weeks with $28,000. Moving one $12,000 customer receipt from week 5 to week 10 leaves it unable to fund all its planned payments in week 9.

Fictional demonstration with invented figures. A sample of the approach, not a client result.

13-WEEK CASH FORECAST

Fictional example
$28,000Cash at week 13 in both scenarios
$2,000Shortfall at week 9 if the receipt is delayed

The decision before week 5

Confirm the collection date and agree on a funded contingency before approving more discretionary commitments.

Keeping the example’s $5,000 reserve would require $7,000 of extra available cash or an equivalent agreed timing improvement at the low point.

How working together works
01

Discuss the decision.

Tell Jacob what is getting stuck, what records you have, and when you need an answer.

02

Agree on the work.

Review a written scope, deliverables, fees, timing, and secure information-sharing process before starting. You can keep your accountant. We agree on who does what and how records are shared.

03

Put the findings to work.

Review the analysis together, agree on next actions, and keep approval over your business decisions and payments.
